| Report: | A night to be forgotten. Vanessa had a long hard battle and eventually beat Cathy.Sandra used her experience to beat young Sandie but there was a nail biting second game in which we thought Sandie was about to win but she was just pipped by Sandra.Jesssica lost out to Anna in a good long game.Helen would prefer not to refer to her game -she was losing and just as she got her act together her racket collided with Carolyn who fell to he ground and was carted off to hospital with a cut eyelid -fortunately she has recovered quickly.Worse still as she retired injured Carolyn forfeits the game.I would not recommended this as a way of winning.Biggin's reputation was further tarnished by the fact that Sandie also caught Sandra across the mouth with a racket.Well it certainly proved to be a dangerous game on this night |
