| Report: | Vanessa and Helen had a good evening with both playing well and the opposition not performing to their best-but it may be that we were determined to make sure that Beckenham scored as few points as possible.Helen's recent mountain walking holiday resulted in her chasing and reaching almost every ball.Sue started well but was outplayed by Alison who hit the ball particularly well on the night whilst Sue underestimated the hot night and her short balls bounced further than anticipated and Alison waas running well and reached most of them. Sandie started well and I thought she was in with a good chance but Tricia got into her stride and denied Sandie another win. |
