Report

Report:First match report for a while……
Tom & Dean on first and started at a cracking pace with Tom taking the first comfortably as Dean was find our tin an easy target! Tom's weekend of sickness was now kicking in and so slowing him a little, Dean at this point decided to up the pace and was scampering around only to find Tom was still commanding the T. A lot of head shaking by Dean and moaning by Tom who clearly had a few girl moments but Tom took the second by the skin of his teeth. The next was tight also with Dean taking it 10-9. I didn't think Tom was going to last but with a long break before the next, think Tom was going for a jog around the block to loosen up:-) Tom took the 4th comfortably and the match.

Dan & Adam on the other court, It was a comfortable win for Dan taking the first two with Dan either relaxing or tiring in the third held on to take it 10-8 and the match.

Richard & Stefan were on next with Stefan clearly in control of an injured and slightly out of condition Rich took the match comfortably.

Andy & Will on next with Andy just back from injury and Will wanting revenge for the last meeting! Andy got off to a slow start understandably tentative in his movements, apart from being fat that is, so Will took the first quite quickly, it was clear Will had been playing more and was on form. Andy got his head on and felt good moving around the court whilst heading what Jenny, the team physio, had told him, took the second 9-3 and so 1-1 after that Will was just a bit fitter and Andy was not! 3-1 to Will, well played.

Last on was James & Martin, James had rushed back from playing a Surrey cup match to go straight on to play a very patient Martin, thanks for waiting. James was flying in the first and playing well but Martin was just a bit too much for James and took the second two to take the match 3-0, good effort James, I cannot see Martin loosing any matches at 2.
