| Report: | This was a very enjoyable evening comprising good squash and stimulating conversation. Andrea and Karen had a good tussle however Andrea's consistent width and depth of shot finally won through (perhaps we should have given her her birthday cake before she played!!) Sharon and Sara played a tightly fought first game which could have gone either way but in winning Sharon gained the edge. However the game of the evening was played by Emily and Diane. It was exciting, nailbiting, rollercoaster of a game which was well deserved of the applause it received at the end. Claire and Anne played a good humoured game with Claire victorious on this occasion (and which I thoroughly enjoyed - thanks Anne). Mags and Brenda too had an enjoyable encounter. Mags demonstrated her ever-improving game by serving tight to the wall and playing to length wherever possible. Well done to everyone and we look forward to the return match. |
