| Report: | After a somewhat bizarre set of circumstances we started the evening with three matches to play, and very entertaining the games were. Sharon and Cathy had very differing styles and the games were tightly fought with the end score not necessarily reflecting the match. Claire and Carolyn had another titanic battle similar to their previous match with Claire just winning through. And as the score reflects Mags and Lisa's game was very close with much athleticism being shown by both ladies but in the end Lisa's penetrating back court play gave her victory. The evening was enjoyable and we look forward to our return match. |
