| Report: | Still no win for Biggin Hill.Jess started well and had brought dad the mascot along but he did not have the same influence as last week and Jess was soundly beaten in the second two games -may be a late night studying had something to do with it.Sandie was also soundly beaten but nearly won the second game.Vanessa had a good tussle with Helen but Helen was really whacking the ball and pippd two games 8/10.
Claire and Mars played an excellent game though neither felt they had played well on one of the first wintry nights of the year and Mars accelerated away on the last few points and Claire unfortunately tinned the ball at match point.Helen and Dorothy had a late start due to two long matches by their team mates. However Dorothy was felling under the weather and Helen stepped in and took advantage to get Biggin their only win of the evening |
