| Report: | A decent result for PL against Dulwich 2 last night, with summer lineups already in evidence. Not much to say on Zeb v Joss or Hany v Harry as I didn't see any of them, but Jack did well to keep Lloyd in check despite Lloyd spraying around his usual quota of shots. Jack just had a bit too much mobility and when he took it early, had Lloyd under a lot of pressure.
The author had his by now traditional story unfolding: lose 1st, win 2nd, get lead in 3rd, lose lead in 3rd and then match. If matches continued until the middle of the 3rd game only, this'd be a breeze of a game. Alex was very mobile and pushed on through for the match. |
