| Away Report: | Jed and Darius kicked off with a phrenetic game that could have gone either way. Unfortunately for Darius it went against him and from then on his head was down and Jed coasted to victory. Craig meanwhile was playing his best squash so far and was too strong and consistent for Dan. Howard and Ritchie were having a good game, Ritchie's power dominating the rallies, when Howard's knee signalled surrender so the match ended in the 2nd game. Tim seemed to be going down easily to Jake's varied shots but picked up in the 3rd and might even have stolen it but for an unwise choice of shot that Jake read, so 3-0. Brian was on good form, some great tight boasts coming off, but Alex was unprepared to let any shot beat him and his retrievals were impressive. He is one of the most creative young players around at the moment. No disgrace in losing here, Brian. |
