We started off well, Craig and Nigel taking their first games. But Gary got into gear and frequently wrong-footed Craig while Paul worked out a way of avoiding too many Nigel killer drops. So 0-2 and over to Darius. Fast and furious, Darius was soon into his retrieval mode while John dominated the T for most of the match. Yes, some extraordinary retrievals but at the expense of accuracy. Oh to have that much energy! Meanwhile, Luis was battling Rob. A good start but Rob was bound to pull away and surely did. Finally, Brian seemed out to win but progressively struggled against Tim's unconventional style. As Tim's errors reduced, Brian's increased and so an eventual 5-0 to the league leaders.
