| Report: | A bit of a pasting for a very under strength PL team.
Zeb put in a good shift against Tim, being a bit unlucky to lose the 2nd after a decent early lead, and the same again in the 4th. Experience and consistent tight squash saw Tim through though.
The author v Jim was a bit of a non event, with Jim controlling things throughout, narrowly missing out on a bagel to finish (thankfully)!
Billy climbed off his sick bed to give Alex a decent run for his money, but was unable to register any points for the team.
James v Antonio seemed to be over quite quickly, with James getting better as things went along but running out of games.
Dave did well to sneak a game (and miss out narrowly on another) against Rhodri. Struggling manfully with his fitness after a very long injury layoff, you could see all the pieces were lurking in there somewhere, but his body wouldn't allow them to appear. Still, his dietary regime is well under way. Taking a leaf out of the Alan Thompson school of dietary management (lager... the end). What could possibly go wrong?
The 3rd team all turned out in the spectators gallery, not having a match, but with the PL1 and 2 teams struggling big time throughout the season to field teams, something tells me the communications channels need reviewing, as we (and particularly the 2nds) could have done with them bolstering the ranks!
