| Report: | First on the mighty tim against superman dave,tim was in control for the first two games working dave hard and long.The third dave had some nice nicks and took it 9/7,the dulwich crowd were silenced and the financial director called an urgent meeting.Game four could have gone the same way but tim had a little left in the tank a good result for dave 3/1.On the other cold dark court captain Andy was not having a good evening Mr brownsdon was not hanging around he had supper to cook and a nice supper it was too.NO2s Duncan against Trevor this was a very close affair trevor coming from behind to take the fith with some fantastic drops,a game that could have gone the other way.
No4s Ian v jon 10/8 in the first this was so close both players deserving the game.On with the head gear jon was ready for war,8/5 up jon went into cruise mode only for ian to start firing on all cylinders 10/8 to Ian hes done it again.Seconds out round three 100 miles an hour thats what it was (sorry for the pun)jon working so hard not giving an inch taking the game 9/7.
The fourth game saw Ian make too many mistakes and jonnyboy miles was level 2-2 game on.
The fith game went the same way with jon working hard picking up some good shots and stayed strong to take the match- now it was game on.
The Dulwich crowd were in shock ,Itv news had been called ,there may be an upset ahead! Last on the No5s Mike cotton had been waiting a long time to play and was cold- well i wouldnt like to play him when his warm, mike taking the games with ease, and the match.Thanks again for a good evening and good food.
