| Report: | Little park langley2 travelled to the mighty Bexley 1 in search of a much needed win just before christmas.
First on jon against the well rounded rob 9/4 9/1 and rob was on a roll 7/1 up in the third and rob sends a message to the changing room to put the shower on I will be in shortly.Jon now turns on the burners and that fighting spirit starts to show,winning the next 9 points taking the game 9/7.fourth game and its jon again on all cylinders 9/1 and marker badger cant believe it.Fith and final jon took a 4-1 lead but a few too many mistakes and rob was back in it holding out with some nice drops at the end 3/2 Rob.
On the other court Trevor complete with injury was being slapped about by the talented Mr Green 3-0 and the langley boys are 2-0 down .
On with the cream James v mark , mark go on and do your best was the galleries opinion, do his best he did with an oustanding performance retrieving from every corner and more,pushing james into the fith,ps I think that knee brace is just for show mark theres nothing wrong with your legs.james wins 3/2.
Matt v Dave I think dave was asleep in the first four games,matt working hard and deserving both games,dave woke up and asked what the score was and got another one of his twenty raquets and got moving at last to win the fith 3-2 dave.
Match all square on with the no3 Andy v steve ,what a player he is fast-nimble-very accurate-fit-and controlled and steve is a good player too.This game was very one sided steve far too strong for captain andy 3-0 steve.
A good night of squash some tight matches and some good banter,slack telling us that he can touch the floor with his hands but ML CANT.jon and captain andy did this with ease then rob did it putting his head behind his legs,it looks like you have some work to do mark he he.
