| Report: | A much more nervy evening for the hosts than the scoreline suggests.
Cath recovered from a slow start to edge Toby whilst on the other court your author decided to attempt the splits at the start of the second despite not being able to touch his toes for the last 20 years, an early (ice) bath the inevitable result. 1-1 and Rhys' second victim in a few days ;-).
Match of the night was at 3 where Caleb staged an excellent comeback against Nolan, definitely didn't look on the cards at 2-0 down and PL on the verge of going 2-1 up on the night. Comeback he did though, leaving Beckenham to need one more of the remaining matches
Max and Michael had an excellent tussle at PL and the crowd was expecting another. Max took his revenge though, finding a consistency that was lacking last time round.
Relief for Beckenham to seal the match with one to spare against a strong PL side and last on were the 1's where Dave couldn't make enough winners to put Faizan under enough pressure in the dead rubber.
