| Report: | After winning the last 2 match's confidents was running high but missing Tobyn and Paul meant this was going to be a tough night and when Sundridge turned up strong we knew was up against it. first on Paul Wainwright v Dave well these 2 love a run and boy did they! both playing most of the game down the back hand side and either knowing why but it was a good game with Paul always having the edge and winning 3 nil. Bob v Pascal- first game Pascal could do no wrong hitting perfect length and every other shot a nick but Bob dug in and after that it was a much more even match with Pascal wining 3 1. Mehmet v Chris - strange match this both players dominating the games they won and at 2 2 nobody could guess the outcome of the last game and when Chris took a 5 0 lead and Mehmet barely able to stand it looked a forgone conclusion but some how Mehmet found something and dragged himself back into the match and won 9 7! Pat v Andy - another 5 setter with Andy just having enough to win. so all down to Steve v Henry - very good match to watch and have to say Steve played very well and give anything but Henry just played better . well deserved win for Sundridge on the night and good food, drink and banter after in the bar . |
