| Report: | With the A2 Closed and the M20 a car park this week was going to be tough!
A quick call to big Bob to tell him we were calling the match off(bob in the bar)because of the traffic and tailbacks and i was going to watch the mighty hill at BLT.
Then a call from little squashboy telling me that they were only 10 mins away -- match back on-- phone call big bob(still in bar but now with tony).
SO 8.30 START.
MO V DAVE.
Dave was in no mood to hang around in this game taking everthing early and finishing well 3-0 dave.
Tony v Trevor
Trevor demoted to no 3 cos he has been on holiday looked slow and missing the rum, took the second game and should have had the third but Tony looked good and finished the old boy of in four.
Mike v Nick
Mike started steady and let nick make all the mistakes and nike was helping best he could,the second saw nick almost getting into a sweat but the same story as the first.This was not Nicks night 3-0.
Ash v jon
Ash was after revenge as jon won our home match so a tight match was ahead.Jon taking the first with some tight lenths 9/6.Then the wheels came of for jon 27-5 the next three games and little squashboy was done, not what the doctor ordered.
With the match won and the clock at 10pm Captain andy was not up for this.
Stu v Andy
Stu took the first with some fast rallies 9/3 and was ready to go straight into the second but hang on captain andy was on a go slow and continued this game plan 9/6 and andy takes it.
The crowd were expecting a 3-0 and in the bar but the sly old fox(thats what bushell calls me)had other ideas.The third game was very close but the slow game was winning andy the points 9/7 andy. The fourth and Stu turned on the burners 9/0 WOW.
The Last game saw AB go 5-1 up only for pow wow stu to hit home winner after winner 9/7 stu.
A good evening exept for the traffic and the result, but very generous are langley 2 we only like to beat the top teams .
