| Report: | On a hot World cup night two of the favourites did battle for the title , enough of Argentina and Croatia lets get on with PL3 V Tunbridge.
first up Leebo v Neil - Didn't see much of this one and so it seems did lee Neil easy winner 3-0
Next door Brett v Martin - A marathon of a game with both players finding it hard to kill the ball ,the first game lasting over 30 mins. Eventually Brett took control in the fourth with both players earning their beer.
Kev v John - A great start by Kev in the first but the wheels came of in dramatic style after this ,well played John sporting a lovely Pink number - More court time needed Sir Kev!
Stu v Sam - This was going to be close sam looked to have the legs and was hitting the ball well , Porky Plumber was working hard to keep his 100% record and so he did getting stronger every game well played PP 3-0.
So into the last match Simon v Stefan .
Si started slowly as usual ,but came out stronger in the second .With much cuddling and canoodiling the new couple moved into the third with the marker awarding more lets than the other 4 games put together.
Stefan played some better stuff late in the third to take the game .
The Fourth was again a mixture of lets and strokes with Simon sneaking it just.
This was always going to the wire and Simon got of to a better start with Stefan almost giving up towards the end - was he exhausted ? or just out of love with Big Si ? 3-2 the big Si .
So a close 3-2 and not a massive difference in the points .

PS All team Chart players now fined for not paying subs on time .
