| Report: | Jolly John's retirement from competitive squash ended last night on a sad note. A comprehensive kicking by old arch rivals Acacia Hall.
Nothing to say about the result, except that Acacia asked me to mention that there was very little swearing or abuse; lots of positive encouragement for markers and players and one spectacular rolling dive by Mike Breen which gained him a let.
Several KP players will be examining the small print in their contracts and hoping that the manager's return from premature retirement next week will not signal the chop for them. |
