Report: | An improvement on last week's drubbing for KP.
Good to have the real Chris Sayer back. Dominating the tin; getting to most balls; hard-hitting. A few too many loose shots. Overall, a B+.
Bad to have the bad Tom back, although he played well. Repeated cries of 'he was nowhere near that' grate after a while. Even cheeky chappy Ash caught the mood and played up to the marker. It cost him the third and nearly the fourth game.
One and a half games of pure class from Mark Fleming. Unbelievable winners with a 90% success rate left young Simon gasping. Then two and a half games of top-drawer tinning. 'Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose'.
'PJ' is still only halfway back to form, losing to guys he usually beats. Back on the treadmill, 'PJ'.
Chris Morgan battled gamely and was making a comeback against John. More aggression might have helped, but a bad back was this week's story.
Knole will have to take a quantum jump up in class to avoid the drop. Cascades look a solid mid-table certainty. |
