Report

Report:A really surprising result all round.

1s and 2s on first for a change.

James sharp, Chris blunt. Revenge for the two-fisted rock star. How does he have time to train in between webcasts? The start of a slump or a bouncebackability wake-up call for KP's superman?

Kevin (Biker) seemed error-prone. The SAV ('PJ') sharp as a pin and tricksy. Great to see the old man back on form.

Jerry just too steady and accurate for Ian. On form, Jerry makes so few errors that he might be mistaken for a youngster with potential.

Billy in a hurry and not enough errors to lose to Gary. Gary had been hidden away at 4 on the basis that Pascal would remember his cunning play from the summer. But Billy failed to fall for Gary's wily pace changes and KP may have to find another place to hide the slightly unfit Gary.

A fitting game to settle the matter between (Lincou lookalike) Pascal and Peter Crouch clone Tom. The only thing missing from Tom's game was the bicycle kick, as he stretched a tiring Pascal to the limit. Tom kept his temper this week, which probably made the difference. Frequent interval coaching by the KP springbok team must have helped as Tom improved length and line the further the match went on.

A pity match ball had to be settled by a frame fluke, but the fitter man won a fascinating contest.

These close Div 2 encounters could be settled by a weigh-in or a shirt fitting at the start. All the overweights in stretched cotton had problems. All those who had trimmed down for the winter got their rewards.

Sorry, PC, I forgot to snaffle the Div 5 shield from the wall; the food and company was too pleasant. Is there an overdue fine system?
