| Report: | Well, here I am, back from sabatical - not that I feel pressured into this report writting or anything!
So, Beckenham had a cold, dark and fairly miserable trip to Knole Park on Tuesday! Beckenham got off to a good start with a win from Cath at 4 - c'mon the girls! Matt had a good go at PJ at 2, but unfortunately lost 9/6 in the 5th. Pete and Mark had a good old tussle at 5, but again Knole came out with the win. Foot faulting played an interesting part in Ian and Tom's game at 3, but this time it was Beckenham that came out on top (I'd like to put something else here, but not sure my life will be worth living if I do!). So, it was all down to the no.1's - Lee started off well, winning the 1st game, but then Chris came back to win 3-1.
So, it was off to the bar for a couple of drinks, some rollmops, melon and treacle tart, whilst being observed by some dear grazing on the putting green! Beautiful!
