Report: | BCC2 welcomed Nuffield to the Lane for a local Derby. Nuffield fighting for survival and BCC trying to maintain their chance at the title.
First up was BCCs Showboat and Karen Danny has worked extra hard the last few months on training and it’s starting to show. His movement is much improved. The first few points were very cat and mouse both player hitting a nice tight length. The only difference was the pace that Danny could hit the ball. If Danny played loose ball Karen would put it away with interest but it wasn’t enough for Karen stopping Danny taking the 1st. The 2nd was a very similar picture. It was Danny’s striking power that had the upper hand. He was hitting a nice tight length. Karen slowed the pace hitting beautifully flighted lobs but Danny’s racket skills were a match and he took the 2nd. Could Karen cause an epic upset and come from two down to beat the showboat........nope. Not this time. The showboat is much fitter now and once he can see the finishing line it’s very hard to stop him. He closed out the 3rd taking the 3-0 victory. Karen came up to the balcony had a drink and retired to the showers. This part I had to include in the report as Karen Hume entered the shower but Kazza from Bickley came out. Se was wearing an electric pink of shoulder number. Kazza very much looked like Olivia Newton-John. I was waiting for her to burst into “let’s get physical”.
The rest of the matches went thus,
Pip shouted a lot at himself and got everything beating Fergus 3-0
Ian was a man on a mission beating a slightly out of sorts Darren 3-0.
Keeley had a pain in her arse( for once it wasn’t me) and got bashed by agent Kimpton who played an amazing diving back wall boast.
I played nick who was struggling with a horrid knee injury. Feel your pain man.
Couldn’t be bothered to do the report this week but Karen (Kazza)insisted.
