| Report: | The path of the righteous squash player is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
But on Tuesday it was Dan Lark, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherded Amida through the valley of the Kent Priory league, as he struck down with great vengeance and furious anger, the efforts of Cath to put Amida second in the title race.
Disco Cowboy v S Joyce - Some say he can moon walk and rodeo at the same time, that he was born on Brokeback Mountain... and that his breath smells of Texas... We only know him as the Disco Cowboy.
After a solid showing in the first game with swift of foot and tight of length, DC's consistency got him the first game with relative ease.
The second however, showed a changed tactic by his opponent who was taking the ball earlier and found great touch with his volleyed drop. A
close game at 9-7, but definite upper hand to his changed opponent.
With the prospect of a 3-2er on our hands, the crowds started to gather. But like a Rhinestone Cowboy, coming out on a horse at a star spangled
rodeo, DC found form again. With a repeat performance of the consistency in the first and un-enforced errors from his opponent, the next 2 games and subsequently the match went to DC. Yeehaaaa Disco Cowboy we salute you.
Clint Eastwood v L Greenwood – As always Clint turned up for that match looking fitter and healthier than the rest of the Amida team put together, despite being older than their total combined ages. He slipped on his lucky Sparks T-Shirt and performed to his normal consistent standard albeit a minor slip in the third!! 3-1 Andy.
Simon “can’t win at home and seems to be creeping into away matches” Grey v M Gill – Simon was wearing a lovely tank top, but alas this wasn’t enough to put matt off. 3-1 to Matt
Webhead v I Smith – Not much to say but Webhead put his match head on and went down 3 zip!!
