Report: | Tom in complete control against Andy until 7-all in the first.
Gary all at sea against 5-grips one-cider Alex, who paused only to telephone his four-week old; then dashed off to silence his troublesome offspring. No time to change into the nurse's uniform this week, so we had to make do with a figure-hugging t-shirt.
Chris bashed and ran the hell out of the ball for one game then succumbed to 'rusty' Simon's silkier squash skills.
Mark (dodgy hip and jittery Asian markets)briefly frightened 'bad leg' Paul, who had asked to be put down, in the second. No sign of the disco moves this week, Paul. But solid squash.
Chris(2)watched from the front of the court as Dan bashed the ball repeatedly to the back for the first game. For the second, Chris cleverly waited at the back of the court for Dan to bash the ball in his direction. A tentative fight back in the third was halted by Chris's twisted ankle scream. He played quite well after that, but not quite enough.
Amida lived up to their reputation as the scruffiest, booziest team destined for higher things. Jolly nice bunch of chaps, though - not a fist raised above neck height all night.
