| Report: | The outcome of this latest encounter was far from certain well into the evening. Kelvin and Mark slugged it out for five games with Mark's greater consistency deciding the issue. Meanwhile Peter and Mick had a lively match, Mick adjusting the calls several times by conceding lets or strokes against himself, including match ball - the perfect gentleman! Paul and Chris were evenly matched, both very determined with Chris retrieving almost as well as Paul was dominating. Gary played with accuracy and skill, and with surprising mobility. Harvey could not get the better of Gary's width or drop shot so met his match this evening. Keith enjoyed another victory over Peter who struggled particularly with the left-hander's boasts. The points hardly represented the tussle, flattering Bromley this time. |
