| Report: | Bromley cc v Bexley 4 4-1 a poor result for us with a weakened team.
First up at 5 a new junior Sam Hazelgrove v big Mark Ames. Sam dug in for a superb 3-2 victory from 0-2 down.
Same time at 3 Selina playing 2 slots above normal lost 1-3 to Mick Beaumont.
Next Sam king at 4 v Old Keith Hews lost 0-3 . Never really had a killer shot and made too many errors at critical times.
Next Dean at 2 had a cracker. Went 2-0 up and lost 3rd 6-9 then midway through 4th suffered cramp because he is in training for the marathon. he lost that 5-9 and limped through the 5th losing 3-9. Shame because without the cramp he would probably have won.
Hany at 1 was truly awful, losing 1-3 and was never in it. He must have beaten last weeks record amount of tins this week. He was shocking losing to a guy who has not won a match all season. John Hazelgrove said to me, "how can you watch that, each week."
Another great evening. Selina was dressed lovely on court but that ploy never worked with this opponent. Fabulous meal after as well, a very good evening.
We miss our superstar Matt suckling.
