Report: | A bit of a stuggle down in the lower ranks of BLTSC was followed by a strong showing by the top three. Ashton powered home against Keeley who threw everything into the second game and struggled a little thereafter. Gary wove his way to victory and used his guile to give himself time to cover the court. Neither Keith nor Andy were at their best (own admission) but Keith had more in the locker. Peter lost the plot a little after the first two games but Keith played to a better length and the end was a cliffer-hanger (I like to think). Nick is steadily improving his match-play but Ross was the more consistent on the night. Paul Webb made a come-back too, in the spectators' gallery, but it's a start! |
