| Report: | Park Langley turned up with 3 players so we decided to play on one court! The first match sue against Lynn could have gone either way, and lasted about 6 hours! A good win by Lynn in the end. Zena against Mericka looked to be heading again for a long one, but, Zena overpowered Mericka in the third and never looked back. Glenda against Ann was almost back to the old days when they were thirty years younger, the only give away was the bandage on Glenda's leg! Once Ann remembered that Glenda couldn't change direction anymore and she remembered she was playing squash not tennis she took charge. A lovely evening reminiscing about all the old players. We finally went home at about midnight. |
