| Report: | It was great as always to welcome Knole to the Mote and a good evening was had by all. Mags and Jan had a tough front of the court battle which Jan won and which aggravated an existing injury for Mags (unfortunately leaving her unfit for next week - get fit soon we need you!!) Katrina and Sarah had an entralling game with Katrina employing some devastatingly hard hitting. However Sarah changed her game accordingly in the third game, resulting in a tense and tight finale which could so easily have gone either way. Claire and Sue had a battle of the serves with Claire taking the initial initiative. However once Sue had the 'feel' of the court she was accurate and penetrating securing a win. Sharon and Nicki had a close second game which could have changed the balance of the game but Sharon took control and them dominated to win the match. Mote really enjoyed Knole's company and look forward to the return game |
