| Report: | First visit to the amida house of tanned totty was the Langley2 challenge.
What superstars would be present?
On first new recruit Rob from the hill up against a very consistant Mr James at No3 Rob not quite fit enough at the moment only getting four points but give him a few weeks and he will be a good steady no3.
No4 Little squashboy miles looked well up for this one his training paying off and regular games against the debt collector and Mr leach has helped his game noend 3-1 to Jon and a good performance first game out.
Next on Superman Dave against the promoted Alex as some stars were missing! Dave took the first and made hard work of the second blowing well to nick it 10/9. Alex took the third as Dave rested and looked good to take the fourth but superman put his wings back to take the match 3-1.
N02 string - It was time for the young Ted to show his ability against the legend Andy Wilde.First game saw Ted take an early lead only for Andy to claw it back with great skills taking it 9/7.The crowd shouted out save some energy for the fith( they were talking to Ted )The second went to Ted with some great winners and was always ahead in the next two andy pushing him all the way. 3-1 A sterling performance against great oppo to start his Langley account.Well done Ted great to have you in the team.
Last on Captain Andy went into a 2-0 lead over Grant only for the wheels to come off completely in the fith, give it a few weeks and the legs will get going.
A good start to the summer season and many more great clubs to visit. |
