| Report: | Priory night once again and this time off to one of the more uptown clubs in the league. No not Cascades but Amida.
B H Rent Boy and AGFB even combed their hair,cleaned their teeth and polishing their skills of speaking proper on the way over.I didn't!
Obviously these couple of poofs fancied their chances with some of the scantly clad women who frequent the premisis.
All to no avail as we were welcomed by a sheepish looking Alex confessing the courts had not been booked out for the evening, EXCELLENT.
No bother a quick call to the lovely Kim on the Hill and courts are made available and grub is soon sorted.
Back into the car and the two poofs are busy messing up their hair and changing back into their scruffy rags which is of course regulation attire for a visit to the Hill.
Thank God the journey was not to long,as the two poofs would not stop bickering about their value in the fantasy squash league.
Somewhere in this evening some squash was played.
First up:
Beverley Hills Rent Boy v Alex CD Martin
Never saw a shot but met Alex as we were both coming off court.
Alex would not stop talking about BHRB's skill,movement,quality of shot etc so I cut that conversation short and spoke to Grant instead.No way I'm going to sit and whistle up BHRB's backside all night!
Debt Collector v Grant
Played Grant a few times now and this was probably the best game we've had.Debt Collector always had control of things but had some good hard rallies. Grant by his own admission paid a visit to the tin too many times resulting in a 3-0 win for DC.
A Good Few Beers v Mike
Mike on the comeback trail and the signs are he is gradually getting back to past form and fitness. However AGFB with plenty off squash under his belt in the past few weeks had to much in the tank and a 3-0 win was notched up.
Mighty Mac v Paul
MM on his way back to full fitness after a spat of injuries. The last person he needed at this stage was a super fit Paul,but that's what he got. Although MM played plenty of good shots,Paul seemed to get everything back and finally MM succumbed to a 0-3 loss.
Camp Ninja Deano v Dan the Man
Funny thing this,but when these two lads went on court all you could see was tumble weed driffting through the club as everybody appeared to leave town in a great hurry rather than taking up ref duties. Still you can always find one 'Billy no mates' in any club who didn't know what was going on so I happily stepped into the breech.
As soon as the pen was picked up hords of people suddenly appeared from all corners looking forward to this hack fest.
Well I don't know what all the fuss was about as two model players got stuck in and not a bad word was muttered.
CND on a mission as he reeled off the first two games 9-0 9-0 and at 5-0 up in the third he was told to pull his finger out by AGFB,so he did,the middle one!!!
After much laughter and distraction,CND's concentration was broken and three points were dropped but the end soon came with a quickfire 3-0 win.
So eventually a good result for the Hill Billies and an enjoyable session in the bar with the Amida boys later.
Unfortunatly the little tiff between the two poofs festered on for the rest of the evening with BHRB disposing AGFB bag of clothes while he was showering. This resulted in a spat of accusations from AGFB in the car about the colour of BHRB hair. Names like Boris Becker,Chris Evans,Prince Harry and the ultimate insult Mick Hucknall were mentiond which seemed to drive BHRB into a fit of rage.
Last thing I heard him shouting as we drove off from his house was 'I'm not ******* Ginger!!!
