| Report: | Both Cascades and Bexley lacking their top nominated players meant that Cascades was struggling from the start.
Matt and Sicknote continued their ongoing rivalry on court with many commenting on the "Hackfest" which ensued...In the end, lots of long rallies meant to was a good close game with Matt's speed finally winning out.
Steptoe struggled against Steph but still tried to finish the last rally with a shot behind his back - if you are going to lose badly - lose in style!
Craig continnued his good form taking Scott to five games in a very fast game with some amazing pick ups from Craig. All of this resulted in an unusual "hissyfit" from Scott who seemed to be thinking about the washing up more than cleaning up on court! In the end Scott took control of the last game and saved himself from even more team ridicule.
Didn't see this one but it seems the two old men of the teams put on a good show and made the most of their outing in a five game saga (or was that the holiday company...)
Finally, Stimpson seemed to be challenging for the title of sicknote with his continued run of illness. he made little impression on Rob who powered his way to a deserved victory without feeling the need to knock his teeth out.
Overall, another good night out with the Bexley players even if Cascades were trounced once again! PL2 next week will clearly be the decider - oh bugger. |
