Report: | With apologies to Julius Caesar - veni vidi vici.
A very routine match with little comment required. A very under-strength Dulwich returned the compliment to PL who had visited Dulwich in similar straits in the first half.
All matches were pretty uneventful. Didn't see WW v Griffin other than a few loopy typical WW shots, but he looks to have had it all under control.
London jnr v Armstrong.
Steve looked as though he'd rather be anywhere but on court in this one, finally raising the energy output to a level sufficient to get off court and away from Ian's persistent foghorn impersonations.
London snr v Jackson.
Another routine affair with the author not really having to change up to any advanced gears to win this one comfortably.
JEJ v Browsdon.
JEJ produced a trademark performance to ease through this one in what was (if one were forced to have to choose) the match of the night.
All in all, good points and a bit of a yawn all round. |
