Report: | BCC had a full team out this week which should have been a more convincing victory......
Ross v Neil
Ross made a great start and played some of his best squash this season to take the first game 9-6. Neil wasn't having any of that and put his vast experience to work to take the second quite convincingly. Ross made a good come back in the third but Neil managed to hold him off and then took the forth as well to take the match.
Tricky v Alan
I didn't see much of this game but by all accounts played well and really turned up the heat in the forth, after being 2-0 up and then dropping the third, 9-0 in the forth secured the match. Tricky's fittness is returning slowly, it needs to as Matt's knocking on the door for the number one slot!!!
There's a challange there Tricky.
Danny V Lee
Lee was odds on to take this one but Danny took the game to him and took the first 9-1. The second was a little tighter which made the score line 1-1, Lee didn't really have any more idea's left this and Danny took the next two 9-2, 9-2 and the match 3-1. Looks like Danny's finding his form again, smiles all round eh!
Big Andy v Nanu
Wouls anyone like to tell where the shop is I can by some fittness?? Well, I thought I was in with a good chance here but Nanu wasn't having any of it and just would not let me into the game. I was just too loose and too fat!! 3-0 to Nanu.
Matt(coach) v Mark
The match was 2-2 at this point and Lee was over confident in thinking Mark was going to win 3-0 as he has all season, was that saying about chickens and counting???
Coach was just back from hols so a week of food and drink, he wasn't hopefull. The match set off at a cracking pace with both players keeping it hard and tight but coach's retreiving and lack of mistakes got him the first game 9-1. This was Mark's first game dropped all season! The second was a real tussel but mat came through with some cracking drives followed by the inevitable tight little drop to the front left. Now 2-0 up coach finished it off 9-1 in the third to take the game and the match.
Even weith this win we've slipped from the top, not for long eh lads.
Hi Ian, see Lewis bombed out again!!!
