Report: | Two Hulberts, two Talebs and Pat O'Brien (there's only one) took on the three Chrises, Tom & Jerry.
Knole won on games, but not on points. How harsh is that?!
Chris (1) looking back to his near best against Craig. Must be time for another holiday or injury.
Chris (3) started slow against Pat - and finished slow - with a very good middle patch. Pat had borrowed the red bandana from Simon(at university) - it doesn't suit the senior squasher, Pat:-)
Tom is not getting enough squash, but showed flashes early on; only to lose them towards the end. A recurrence of the ham injury at the death seems to have put him out again. Knole's squad down to 4 1/2 for the next few weeks.
Chris (2 - barrels) bashed his way past Hany for one game. Then Hany worked out that to beat a basher you just have to slow it down. It wasn't rocket science, but highly entertaining, with Chris doing everything he could to cling on. Chris won by a mile on the energy expended front.
Jerry looked composed in the dead rubber. Keith looked as though one game was all he had come for - and it was all he got.
More points for KP this week than any other week so far. But that elusive win is elusive. |
