Report: | Biggin Hill marches on, led by Stuart who didn't allow Paul to get into his stride until it was too late to save the match. Dean meanwhile seemed to lack timing at the start but got into the groove not only to save the first game but strolling through the next, meeting only temporary resistance from Peter in the 3rd game. The Ford brothers vs. the Garrett brothers were two quite different matches. Nick's casual approach disguised his speed and accuracy while Kevin looked as if he'd just crawled out of bed, because he had, and never found his form. Brian and Anthony fought point for point and the match could have gone either way, but for Brian's winning frame shot. Mark and ? Stu's match ended abruptly with a dispute with the marker who wanted to award penalty points for lets called when turning. A pity but not that it affected the overall result. Penalty points in Priory 4?! Whatever next? |
