| Report: | Unfortunately Biggin Hill's no.4 was ill at the last moment and we were unable to reach Mote in time to stop their 4th player turning up -not sure how they decided who would drop out -straws,coins or just a good captain.Vanessa was soundly beaten by Val but put up a good fight in the second.Helen played well and her lob serves were accurate for once but she lost the third by putting a few in the tin whilst Sarah cut everything off. Claire and Sharon had a struggle of a game which proved to an aggressive tussle for a ladies match and it certainly put Vanessa's marking skills to the test!! |
