| Report: | First match of the season with enough controversy to worry John Prescott....Cascades fielding one of their strongest teams against John who played for them last season with Neil coming into loads of flack for playing for his new team against his old one!..
All matches were played in good spirit with a full field of spectators to chear both sides on. The highlight of the evening was the fight at the No 3 spot, with Neil playing Graham in a closer game than the score would have you believe. The game with John against Alex was similar in this respect with John often looking more in command and Alex doing more running - but showing real ability overall.
Good beers and good humour, with more jokes about the sexuality of the Cascades boys and their "training sesions"....and Bob wasn't even there! (Maybe next week...) |
