| Report: | A competitive match played in the right spirit. Highlights have to be the matches at 1 and 2. Nick from Bromley coming back from 2 down to record a 3-2 victory and a real ding dong at 1. Phil from Blackheath looked liked he was cruising to a comfortable victory, but credit to his opponent Brian for hanging in and after losing the first two hauling himself back into it by winning games 3 and 4. The fifth was nip and tuck until Phil finally managed to put his opponent away and win 9-6 for a 3-2 victory. |
