Report: | A very good performance from Amida against a hung over Bexley with 3 players just back from stag w/e and 1 back from holiday. Dean at 3 with just 3.5 hours sleep from the night before started off like a train winning 9/5. The hangover then kicked in and steady Eddie took control with 3 easy games. Same court at 4 young elliot just back from holiday never got going against the useful pete losing 27-2. Over on the other court our lovely Doris put in her usual fighting performance losing 3-1. Her brother at 1 also back from a stag w/e started well then like dean fell away for the last 2 games losing 3-1. Match of the night for me was the 2 strings. Jack also back from his brothers stag w/e in Portugal put in a sterling performance in one of the best games of squash i have seen all year. In the end his opponant Martin just had too much for him and the long rallies started to take their toll with Martin winning 3-1. A very good sporting night with a hot chilli to follow. |
