Report

Report: Last game of a bleedin long season and a nice cosy encounter between the two teams on the Hill.
Well that's probably how the first team prima donnas saw the occasion as they strolled in with a party air about them. That mood was soon dispelled once they got on court against the paupers from the second team.
Nice to see the return to home waters of the pod of whales in the shape of mother whale Mortimer and her calf 'Whaley Mayley'

First up:

Mother Whale v the Faz
Faz probably thought he went on court to play squash but in fact was introduced to the blocking techniques of a line backer in the NFL.
Faz may be pretty nimble on his feet but but could not avoid some fearsome hits and blocks from Mother Whale.
After a close first game which the Faz only just survived, he donned helmet, pads and cod piece to wrap up the next two reasonably comfortably.
Mother Whale was spotted by an NFL scout from across the pond and the Hillbillies are now fighting to retain his services before he is snapped up in the first draft pick by the Dallas Cowboys.

Calf Whale Mayle v Worzal Pennell

Didn't see this one but I understand Calf Whale played well until Worzal threatened to harpoon him ! 3-1 to Worzal.

Debt Collector v Camp Ninja Deano

DC got a good kicking off CND in the first playoff game and was determined there would be no repeat.
A very intense game with no quarter asked or given. Both players had patches of playing well with neither doing so at the same time resulting in no close games. CND doing enough to win in five.

Fordy v Stacey

This game had just about everything from two great shot players.
All games went to the wire, unfortunatly the walls get very damp as the match progressed and by the time the fifth game started,Fordy had adapted to the conditions better while Stacey could not get his head round all the boasts going straight down the walls.
3-2 to Fordy but a great exhibition of squash from both lads.

Raw Meat Laney v A Good Few Beers

Match of the night for all the wrong reasons this one. That said I would have paid good money to view it as it was bloody hilarious.
AGFB started off playing good steady squash while Raw Meat raised the anti through the roof from the first rally (does this ring a bell Slack)
AGFB worked his way into a 2-0 lead but it was clear the mood was darkening and sure enough the wheels fell off in the third as Raw Meat applied every form of verbal torture and general *iss taking available in his considerable armoury.
The fourth was i bit of an anti climax with Raw Meat making too many unforced errors and AGFB mental staight just about bearing up under fierce examination.

So the end of a long flog with the Prima Donnas going through unbeaten so I guess congratulations are in order.
The Faz is now off to Canada for a big PSA event which will tie in nicely with his brief to tap up a few pros for next season.
He's been told not to bother with Jonothan Power though because he won't stop whinging, hmmmmm thinking about it though he sounds perfect for the first team!!!
