After frantic searching for a 5th player at 6:45 Bexley were forced to arrive with only 4 players (sorry Adrian).
Jonny vs Duane, on paper this should have been close but Duane just had the edge with Jonny getting drawn into Duane's game, Jonny did work out what he had to do, unfortunately for him he was matchball down, after a dive straight out of the Gary Clarke handbook he went down 3-0.
Darren vs Mark, a strong start for Mark in the 1st was followed with an equally good game from Darren in the 2nd, the 3rd was close with Mark edging it but in the 4th Mark stretched his legs to take it 3-1.
Phil vs Matt, didn't see this but in his first game after corrective leg surgery captain slack returns with a win, Phil was last heard muttering something about a 40 years age gap.
Adam vs James, Adam played controlled squash to take the first, James upped the pace and kept the ball tight taking the next three games. fortunately for Mr Adam he loses no points in the grading list as Mr James is more than 300 points above him in the list.
Excellent food kindly prepared by Mrs Powell and lots of banter as is usual with the Mote.
