Report

Report:The re-arranged fixture between BH and TW was played on a Thursday night, which affected my usual evening of a night in watching tv!

The squash was pretty much a one sided affair for this one. But BH were happy to have attracted their largest crowd of the season of seven spectators (3 of which were related to Ingbo!). In fact the ladies darts match in the bar attracted a much larger crowd than the pros of BH.

Iain v Jolyon
I didn't see this one as I was on court myself, but from the scores it looked like a comfortable victory for the wideboy. Jolyon remarked that Iain was 'hitting the ball in the wrong places' and that he needed to hurry up and play so he could go home and pack for his holiday on Saturday.

Toby V Paul
The BH captain is still suffering from a heavy bout of man-flu, which showed on court! Paul grew increasingly frustrated with both himself and the marker throughout the match, seeming to not agree with any decisions that Ingbo made. The third game was a little closer than the first two, fortunately for the BH captain Paul made a few too many errors on key points allowing BH to record their second win of the evening.

Lee v Colin
Only saw the first game of this one as I needed a shower, you can't be too careful with man-flu! Lee looked in total control, with Colin seeming to run himself into the ground in the first game.

Ingbo v Herman
Didn't see this one, I was trying to get a drink from the bar lady, who after a unsuccessful seven attempts of pouring a pint of Guinness finally gave up and offered me a bottle of Bud instead! I returned to the gallery to see that Ingbo had already finished much to my surprise. Apparently only dropping five services along the way!

Gordon v Steve
Not a bad match this one. Usual McManus style of winner, winner, winner, tin, tin , tin, moan, curse, winner, winner, tin. Steve pretty much followed the same pattern!
