Report: | Nightmare on Baugh Road? (for Bromley LTSC2) or, more properly, well done David Lloyd who got down to business from the start. Mark and Gary played a cliffhanger, the most exciting match of the season for both clubs I think with several match balls each before the deciding low, cross-court drive. In contrast Paul and, after him, Peter, were uneasy on court this evening and despite threatening to turn the tables on a determined Gurkhan and John, eventually succumbed to give David Lloyd their second victory of the season. It was some consolation for Bromley that Keith just got the better of Graham in another close match, and Ray stretched ahead of Robert after the first game that could have gone either way. All those games meant a late meal but David Lloyd are not known for skimping on hospitality, much appreciated by the defeated visitors. |
