Report: | Bromley were prepared for a tough evening, particularly after Park Langley arrived sounding more excited than a bunch of teenage girls on their first school outing. Non-playing captain (Head Girl) Malcolm (Daisy) Meadows was anything but a calming influence. The reason for the anticipatory giggles was of course the good fortune to have been handed the chance of finishing top of Divn 4 by Tunbridge Wells last week. BLTSC II was to be points fodder and, sadly, did not disappoint. Only Paul and Peter put up enough resistance to earn Bromley a few points. The Park Langley belles were up for it though and deserved their 20 points. Were Gary to offer a prize for contagious enthusiasm for Priory squash then Park Langley III would be strong contenders. |
