| Report: | Cascades again struggling with 1 players absent and two injured (Stimson and Sicknote of course)meant that this was always going to be a tight match.
Craig and Simon on first - Craig seems to have stepped his game up recently and proved this as his speed and killer drives gave Simon little room to relax into his game, giving Cascades a 1-0 victory. Thanks for stepping in Craig....have a feeling your ranking may be different next season!
Ash and Darren on next with a replay of a tight first half game. Ash took the first and was 2-0 up in the second when he pulled up with a bad back (that's why he is called sicknote). Darren took control of this game and played some neat drops to even it at one all. With some help of some particularly smeely back rub (Bob did offer to put it on) and lots of sympathy from Darren, Ash pulled ahead at 2-1. Again Darren's drops left Ash feeling like Forest Gump so it was all in the third - luckily Darren decided to speed it up and keep it at the back so amother win for Cascades! (Thanks Darren)
Mo and Trevor on next with Mo showing that he has still got it when he wants it. Stu and Mike on with Stu showing why he is currently in the no 1 spot - his fitness regime seems to be working!
Finally BBGB and Adam on last with BBGB having recently been told he needs a new knee. No sympathy from the balcony as shouts of "You've still got the other one" echoed round the court. But Adam had no sympathy and simply outplayed Bob for 2 9-0 wins. A brave fightback by Bob in the 3rd showed what he can do with a little self belief, but too late to make any impressions.
Good beers and sick stories from BBGB left everyone laughing but feeling just a little ill.
