Report: | BCC were looking for our second win to consildate our position.
The Boy v Andy
Didn't see much of this game but The Boy got off to a flying start, Andy said he couldn't see the ball flying past him but dug in to take the second. A few cracks appearing now, The Boy's fittness and lack of match play was really showing and Andy took the match 3-1.
Big Andy v Chris
Big Andy felt good for once after his appauling run last season, good close fist game with Chris taking that one. Big Andy came out for the next determined to control the game and thats exectly what happened, 9-1 to level the score. The third was vital as Big Andy's fittness was in question!! After a little pep talk from Rob chris came out with a change of game plan and took the third, Big Andy ran out of steam and that was it.
3-1 to Chris.
F C v Rob
Big Andy had the dubious pleasure of marking this one, normally a 3-2 tussle with Rob having a good old moan as usual but not today!! F C hadn't picked up a racket in 4 weeks and it showed, 3-0 to Rob.
Coach v Scott
The forth meeting between these two and always a great match with this one being no exception.
Coach started a bit loose and slow and dropped the first two games. Was this going to be the first time Scott walked away with the honors? Coach got going at this point and took the next two 3 & 0, all down to the fifth but Scott just didn't have enough and Coack took the honors again.
Chopper v Jack
The money was on Chopper with this one but loosing the fist 2-9 was not a good start but Chopper hacked his way back like only he does to make it 1-1. 1 each for the next two and all down to the fifth, a weekend of partying really took its toll and Jack strolled through the next to take the match 3-2.
A good match played in great spirits, good buch of lads.
Man of the match....has to be Coach. |
