| Report: | Last game before Xmas....Ash and Justin on first - Justin never quite looked like he was on form and struggled to read sicknotes game with a quick 3-0 to Cascades. Mike "Buddy" Stimson had a similar game next door, gaining an unusual win for this season...
Bob looked like he might have found new legs in his game against Olly, but suddenly realised he was stilll carrying around the old body and went down 3-1 against someone much younger and fitter. Tony "steptoe" struggled to find form, but after lots of swearing, managed to put his opponent off enough to steal a win.
Game of the night was definitely Mo and Kevn - some outstanding squash, nicks and pickups made this a treat. Finally mo looked in control at the end, but only after producing his best squash of the season.
A good match with good humour and competitive friendly squash - thanks guys - look forward to 2009 and the rematch. |
