| Report: | Highlight of the evening was a terrific match between Chris Skiller of Wildernesse and Dan Sweeney of New Eltham. Long rallies, great retrieving and some excellent shot-making made for a most entertaining match, which Dan Sweeney nicked in the 5th.
Earlier, Wildernesse had clinched the match with 3-0 wins at numbers 1,2 and 5; the only notable incident had been when New Eltham's Graham Lilley decided he had had enough and walked off court midway through the second game. His team-mates persuaded him to return but he had no answer to Mark Johnson's shot-making as he succumbed 0-3. |
