Paul and Peter were despatched efficiently by Jon and Alan without effective resistance. Kevin looked as if he was going the same way but got into his stride in the 3rd game before Nick reasserted himself. Guy and Tim had a good tussle, Tim having the more considered shots to gain the points that mattered. The most enthralling match was Richard and Ray, Richard running everything down and Ray having to pull out winners which he did most effectively in the 3rd before the inexhaustible Richard came back strongly to win. And Bromley increased their haul of points by 200 per cent. |
