Report: | Parklangley's best looking and most lady pleasing team greeted our close buddies from down the road to another nights enjoyable squash.
Darren and Adam went on first and played some good stuff. Adam was just a little too quick and accurate for Darren who played well to get a game but Adam deservadly took the points.
Trev and Dan went on and Trevor find some impressive form, hitting a number of tight lobs and deep lengths he forced Dan into finding the tin on many occasions. After a tight first Trev finished the game in some style.
Didn't see any of Mike vs Pete but it appears that Mike started well but was unable to keep going. Maybe if he nicked the first the scores could have been different but Pete appears to have won the final few games fairly easily.
Didn't see much of Fergus vs Gordon but the points I witnessed showed Ferg to be wondering round the court like the sleep-deprived unfit kilt-wearer he is. Comments from others did not give me the impression that this was an entertaining encounter...
Kev lost to Martin over 5 games, starting well he soon tired as Martin upped the tempo and kept the ball deep. Kev took advantage when Martin took his foot off the gas in the fourth but the fifth was only going to go one way.
Another friendly evening and we will hopefully see you all in the winter. |
